FIRE International Asia

 

Registered as a non-stock, non-profit corporation with the Securities Exchange Commission in Davao, Philippines, established in 2017.

 

FIRE International Asia (FI Asia) is a branch of the inter-denominational, full time missions sending agency, FIRE International, directed by Dr. Josh Peters in North Carolina, USA and founded in 1999. FIRE is an acronym for Fellowship for International Revival and Evangelism, as well as Friends for International Relief and Education. 

 

FI Asia’s purpose is to help and support missionaries fulfill their call from God. It is established specifically to help Asian workers be sent and sustained in full time missions work around the world. 

 

FI Asia provides training and equipping for fund raising and cross cultural living, as well as oversight and pastoral care for all missionaries and their families, accountability, counseling, prayer support, and a sense of belonging to an international “family” of missionary colleagues.

 

FI Asia receives and processes funds for its workers, promotes missionaries and their projects, and offers open doors for ministry and future connections.

 

FIRE International Asia is in full support of the local church and in no way desires to replace the Biblical role of the senior pastor in the missionary’s life. The Board of Directors intends to serve as a supplement to the local congregation, as missions pastors and spiritual mentors to its workers.
